In 2018, musician Post Malone faced two alarming incidents within a short span. On August 21, the private jet he was aboard experienced blown tires during takeoff, necessitating an emergency landing. Just weeks later, on September 7, Malone was involved in a car accident in West Hollywood when his Rolls-Royce collided with another vehicle and crashed through a fence. Fortunately, he emerged unscathed from both events.
Reflecting on these experiences, Malone expressed feeling targeted by misfortune, tweeting, “God must hate me lol.”
In subsequent years, Malone’s personal life underwent significant changes. He welcomed a daughter in 2022, an event he credits with profoundly transforming his outlook. In an August 2024 interview, Malone shared that prior to her birth, he was on a “rough path” marked by loneliness and excessive drinking. He attributes his daughter and her mother with saving his life, stating, “It’s really slowed me down a lot, party-wise, going out and being crazy.”
These experiences have led Malone to prioritize his health and well-being, embracing fatherhood as a pivotal turning point. He continues to focus on his music career while cherishing his role as a father.
